about

New Jersey organist John Ginty has covered a lot of ground. Literally. From playing the role of sideman (Jewel, Citizen cope, Santana, Robert Randolph, Whiskeytown), to releasing three solo records, to recording and making videos with hip-hop legend Redman, to touring the world with the Dixie Chicks, Ginty's career has had a wide scope.

This album debuts at #10 on the Billboard Blues Chart for the week starting March 3, 2017.

While on tour supporting his last release "No Filter" (RMR Charts Top Blues Rock Album of the Year), Ginty's band performed at the legendary Wonder Bar in Asbury Park. The opening act that night was local singer Aster Pheonyx. After some conversation and jamming backstage, Ginty invited Aster to sing with the band. the unplanned performance had an instant chemistry, and Ginty made the most of the magical encounter by inviting Aster to join the band as lead vocalist and begin working together on his fourth studio release.
